The Chittenden County Soccer School (CCSS) and Mansfield Soccer Camp is being offered Monday, July 15 through Friday, July 19 at Mills Riverside Park in Jericho, VT from 9am to 12pm. All players will receive a soccer ball, camp tee, and team award. Our coaching staff includes teachers, counselors,experienced players and the MMU Varsity Soccer Coaching staff. Age groups range from 4 to 17. We are continuing to offer goalkeeper specific training sessions with MMU goalkeeper coach Michael Stearns. In addition, we are encouraging local town club teams to register together as a group for team specific training sessions. Incoming area high school players are recommended to attend for a fast paced, intense tune-up to soccer preseason. Our youngest campers will focus on fun and the love of the game. CCSS will be adding a strength and conditioning component for all high school age soccer players this summer (Mansfield Soccer Camp). Training focus will be on soccer specific fitness, finishing, defense, and control. High School age players will get 90 minutes of small-sided and scrimmage game time each camp day 9am-12pm. Browns River Soccer School 2013
Browns River School Soccer School will be held on the fields behind Browns River Middle School this year from June 24-28, 9am-12pm. Camp is designed for players of all levels, aged 5-17. Camp fee is $100 which includes a t-shirt, soccer ball and camp photo.
In our 21st year, The Browns River Soccer School continues to provide our community with a talented group of educators and soccer players to engage your young athlete in the world’s game. We promote the fundamental skills of soccer including: first touch, ball control, positioning, attacking, defending, dribbling and finishing. Daily activities include a dynamic warm-up, stretching, skills sessions, and small sided games. We strongly believe in individualized instruction and maintain an appropriate camper to staff ratio, to ensure that every camper receives necessary attention. Our main goal is to enhance your child’s love of the game. We strive to improve our campers' skills while promoting good sportsmanship and recognizing the importance of soccer on a global scale.
