The differences between Front Porch Forum & Two Towns Online
- TTO provides a range of online services ( website, calendars, message boards, mailing list, directories and more). FPF maintains mailing lists for four separate areas in J&U
- All TTO services are available to all J&U residents. FPF mailing lists can only be used by and for residents in a specific area.
- FPF is a business that serves Chittenden County and beyond. TTO is a local non-profit organization run by volunteers from J&U
We advise to use both lists, depending on the purpose and content of the message. If your message is only relevant for people in your neighborhood as defined by FPF, use the FPF list. If your message might be of wider interest, use the TTO list. See also a good newspaper article on FPF.
